GET-SET is back
The GET-SET workshop will begin with a set design workshop hosted by Adrian Mamo and a technical workshop by Andre Micallef on the 18th, 19th and 20th of November.
Here participants will be taught the process of set design, giving them to skills needed to plan, execute, and create a set design model, ready to be on stage for all to see. During this session, teams will be formed, which will be used to create their very own set design concept. The rest of the weekend will be for teams to design, build their set prototype and budget their design, with presentations of teams designs on Sunday afternoon.
The winners of GET-SET will be announced by Sunday afternoon with the interested winners becoming Set Coordinators for this years Students' Fest!
Working alongside the Students' Fest crew, the winning team will purchase the required supplies with the given budget and will be in charge of building the chosen set in time for tech-week on the 10th of April, with shows starting on the 14th.
Learn – Design – Win – Execute
All materials for the prototype will be given to participants by the organisers. A small fee of €5 will be asked of all participants.
Deadline to apply is 17th November.
