Kokka Fondi: Sports Fund
The aim of the Fund is to promote and encourage the appreciation and implementation of sports within the student body. The goal is two-fold:
Option A
The fund will be awarded on a sponsorship basis, whereby KSU would sponsor the sports student organisation. This sponsorship would include, but is not limited to, pitch rental, purchase of kits, etc.
The sponsored Student Organisation must market KSU on their equipment, where applicable, and also on their Social Media. They must also organise, at least, one initiative per Semester on the University of Malta Campus, not including the KSU Freshers’ Week or the KSU Careers’ Expo. Funds need to be used for necessary expenses, such as pitch rental, renewal of kits, that create a platform for the University students participating within the Sports Organisation.
Option B
The fund would be awarded to student organisations to fund projects that encourage the appreciation and implementation of sports within the student body.
Payments will be paid directly from KSU – meaning applicants need to provide quotations of goods to be purchased or of expenses to cover the project applied for. Once all documents are submitted, KSU will issue payments directly to companies involved.
Student Organisations are encouraged to apply and make use of the funds available from the KSU Sports Fund!
Example of Sponsorship Basis:
Subsidy on kits/equipment purchased for a sports team.
Example of Project-Based Initiatives:
Football tournament between university student organisations.
