Becky is a twenty-three year old law student, currently reading for a degree in Bachelor of Laws, after having graduated with a BA English (hons) 3 years ago. She loves to eat, travel, read, sleep and takes a keen interest in literature and politics.
Becky has been actively involved in student organisations over the past three years. She was a founder member of the Erasmus Student Network UoM, where she held the post of Marketing Officer and, in her second term of office, as Secretary General.
Becky also held the post of Vice-President of Moot Court Competitions in ELSA Malta, where she was responsible for organising moot court competitions in Malta as well as promoting those organised by ELSA International. She formed part of the team that succeeded in winning the bid to host the 65th ELSA International Council Meeting in Malta, March 2014. In July 2013, Becky was elected as Treasurer of ELSA Malta and was also appointed Vice-Head and Head of Finance in the Organising Committee for the 65th ELSA International Council Meeting. Her duties included the overall running and supervision of all the activities held throughout the week-long conference.
As of June 2014, Becky will be taking on the role of KSU Social Policy Commissioner, where she will strive to increase student organisations' participation on campus in the hope of diminishing student apathy. Becky would like KPS to take a more active role in current issues which impact students in their daily life.
