Francienne was born on the 19th of August 1992. She is a twenty one year old, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Law with International Relations (LLB), and is currently reading a doctoral degree in law (LLD).
She joined Gozo University Group (GUG) in 2011. She felt the need to join this student organisation in order to help in facilitating the lives of Gozitan students who study in Malta and to represent Gozitan youths. During her first year she served as Social Policy Officer, and then in 2012 she was elected Secretary General. She occupied this position for two years. During these three years she worked with the other executive members to give Gozitan Students the opportunity to sit for their exams in Gozo and for a better public transport between Cirkewwa and University amongst other initiatives, while taking care of the administration of the organisation.
Currently she is also the Secretary General of the Gozo Half Marathon Organising Committee and serves as the Officer responsible for the Members of the Gozo Regional Youth Council. She had also participated in the NSTF Mini-European Assembly. She used to volunteer with the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C). In her free time she likes to read, go jogging, horseback riding or swimming.
During this year in KSU, serving as Education Coordinator, Francienne will work to complete the proposals in the education sector, making sure to enhance the academic experience of all students. She will address the students concerns and complaints and listen to the students' suggestions and opinions and voice them with the relevant bodies.
