Ryan Falzon is a 20-year-old student currently reading for a Degree of Medicine and Surgery. For the past three years he took an active involvement as member of the Malta Medical Students' Association. Although not being part of the executive board of the mentioned student association, he coordinated new projects, which makes him receptive to all kinds of ideas and suggestions for implementation.
For the past months he was elected as Student Representative on the Faculty Board and Board of Studies of his respective Faculty. He also regularly attended and actively participated during all Education Meetings. He truly believes that students should be well represented in the implementation process of education policies.
Alongside University and this passion for student activism, from the tender age of 9 years Ryan has also been playing the althorn with a local band. He also did voluntary work in a number of local organisations.
As KSU Education Commissioner, Ryan will monitor the discussions held during the Education Commission Meetings, were every Student Representative can involve himself. During this year, he will work to inform the students about the education policies being discussed at the time, and keep in constant contact with all Student Representatives.
Moreover, Ryan will work to continue improving the communication between the Faculty-based Student Organisations and the respective Student Representative. Motivated and consistent in his work, Ryan will use his experience to listen to all the student's feedback to enhance full representation, while working with them to improve the education sector of our University.
