Angelo was elected as KE Commissioner by the Education Commission in April 2010. Age wise he is the oldest member of this year's KSU Executive. Angelo has long been involved in student and youth affairs. Back in De La Salle College Angelo was a member of the secondary school council for 3 years running. At university he became a member of the executive of SDM and took the post of Public Relations Officer. During his tenure of office he helped found SDM's monthly publication Stream. A year later Angelo took the post of Secretary General of SDM, a post he occupied for 3 years.

Angelo also occupied the post of National Events Officer in the National Youth Council (KNZ) and thus organized the National Youth Parliament held in September 2009. During the tenure of his post he introduced the concept of a second National Youth Parliament within the same year an event which took place in March 2010. In December 2009 Angelo together with a group of student re-started the Malta University Film Club after a period of dormancy. He held the post of President until May 2010.

Angelo is a 5th year law student having during his first 3 years in the law course studied law together with European studies.
