One of KSU's biggest investments this year is the brand new Research & Resources Fund. €10,000 are being allocated for the benefit of the whole student population, aiming to maximize one's true potential, and help make the the students at the University of Malta proud of their alma mater.

This fund is being divided into 2 areas, devolving past KSU funds into one, and changing the general concept of this fund. Whereas previously students were being awarded financial grants to fund a number of items used to further their studies at University, KSU now wants to promote students to be proactive, and start their own initiatives and projects.

In the Research & Innovation Area of the fund, KSU is encouraging students to delve into new projects, leading to a final end product, in areas such as Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship, amongst others.

In the Library Resources Area of the fund, students once again have the opportunity to request materials and resources, which are bought by KSU through this fund, and given to the student who applied for it and eventually put in the University of Malta Library for everyone's use.
