Youth For The Environment has the following aims:

a) to represent University Students at a university, national and when possible at an international level on any issue related with the environment in accordance with the other provisions of this Statute;

b) to organise campaigns/activities and other initiatives such as fora and exhibitions at a national/university level so as to raise public awareness towards a sustainable environment;

c) to stop the degradation of the local natural environment and to encourage its citizens to play their part in achieving that goal promote lifestyles in harmony with nature;

d) to offer an opportunity to students interested in an academic approach towards the environment and support student research in the area of environmental science;

e) Any other aim which is of benefit to nature provided that it is not in conflict with any provision of the laws of Malta;

The organisation reserves the right to take part in public but strictly non-partisan campaigns which the Committee and/or the General Meeting approves of as being in the national or members’ interest according to the statute.

• The organisation shall be a non-profit, non-partisan student organisation.
• Youth For The Environment shall show respect for, and refrain from acting contrary to democratic principles and fundamental human rights as embodied in the laws and constitute.
• The organisation recognizes the right of ALL its members to participate effectively.
