Two words that can describe Mario best, are undoubtedly dedicated and hardworking. Perhaps being an ex-Aloysian helped to form his strong and determined character, the latter being two characteristics that have been of keynote importance this year, when he served in the post of Culture and Entertainment Officer in KSU elected through SDM. The past year has been an ongoing learning experience for him, seeing Mario delve into projects aimed at increasing students activism and participation all-throughout the year. Together with his team-mate Stephanie Soler, he organised events such as Campus Fest, the Graduation Ball, Students' Fest, which have all been a huge success with an impressive turnout both in students participating in the events and also in general attendance.

He is also reading for a degree in Laws and is currently in his third year of studies. Mario truly enjoys student life on campus and has always sought to involve himself in student activities, way before he started working within student organisations. He has also a keen interest in local and foreign affairs, politics, technology and music.

Mario, as the new Secretary General, intends to work on the various projects that KSU is planning to make University a better place for all the students. He really believes that through the collaboration of each and everyone of us, and also with the help of student organisations, one can really make a change and achieve positive results which will affect both current University students today, but also the prospective students of tomorrow.
