The Arts Students’ Association (ASA) has been recently brought back to life. This organisation was originally set up for two main aims. The first was to create unity between Arts’ students and to act effectively as their representatives and secondly to serve as a platform for expression for all those Institutes whose courses fall under the umbrella of the Faculty of Arts. All those students following a course within the Faculty of Arts as secondary or subsidiary areas are automatic associate members. ASA shall promote the contemporary relevance of the Humanities in all spheres. Through its various events and publications, ASA now wishes to instil a culture of participation in all its members.
