Greenhouse is a student organisation which aims at creating a permanent presence on campus related to the environment. Various environmental entities have come out of university but later move on to the wider civil society. Greenhouse seeks to primarily establish this permanent presence organisation by tacking enviornmental issues and provide students with a platform to engage with the wider civil society.

Projects started by Greenhouse tend to be practical projects to seek more environmentally friendly practises meant to make life on campus more self-sustainable for the administration and students alike. Furthermore we seek to channel civil society partners to engage with the students and help us create greater awareness on campus of ones impact on his surroundings.

The organisation is not limited to enviornmental issue as it also seeks to engage with other partners on campus to develop and familiarise the notions of social justice and participatory democracy with the students.
