The Tourism Studies Association was founded by a group of students reading Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Tourism Studies. Primarily, TSA represents the students taking this course at the University of Malta, and their interests. The aim is to bridge the gap between University life and the real world of work, as well as to enhance career prospects within the Tourism industry and to build future leaders of the various tourism sectors.
As TSA works to enhance tourism, it organises a wide range of activities that make sure that the students get their own hands on experience with individuals, companies and other organisations and associations within the tourism industry. TSA aims to serve as a launch pad for a student’s future career in tourism. Through a wide range of contacts, TSA seeks to build strong relations with the existent stakeholders of today’s tourism industry. This serves to strengthen a student’s professionalism, experience and abilities so that they would be able to follow a prosperous career in the beautiful and vast industry of Tourism.
