European Young Journalist Award 2010 |

The European Commission’s Directorate General for Enlargement is inviting young established and prospective journalists to participate in the European Young Journalist Award 2010 (EYJA2010) by submitting print, online and radio articles published between 1st October 2007 and 28th February 2010.
Below is some information about the award:
For: Established journalists and journalism students Age: 17 and 35 years of age
Eligible: Citizens of:
- One of the EU Member States
- Candidate Countries
- Potential Candidate Countries
- Iceland
Topic: The EU Enlargement Media: Print, online and radio Published/Aired: Between 1st October 2007 and 28th February 2010 Closing date: Submissions accepted until 28th February 2010
Prizes: 1st place (one in each country) (36 winners in all):
- a trip to Istanbul in May 2010 which will end with a conference
Overall (among the 36 winning entries), three Special Prizes:
- Most original submission
- Best research
- Best journalistic style
