Abigail Cremona, active in youth activism since her teenage years, is currently pursuing the BA. (Hons) in Criminology. Between 2009-2011, Abigail served as the President of the Criminology Students` Society and with dedication organized activities ranging from “the Degree Plus in Drug Abuse in Society”, “Human Rights Campaign”, “The Truth about Rape seminar” to the publishing of “Crime on Campus- A myth or a reality?”, Study. Between 2008-2009 she was part of the Malta University Sports Club where she promoted sports on campus. In 2006, Abigail represented the G.F. Abela Junior College in the Malta NSTS Mini-European Assembly placing second and in 2009 as the coordinator of the University Team placing First. In 2009 Abigail was awarded the KSU Kokka Habrieka and in 2011 as part of the Human Rights Team was awarded the KSU Kokka Innovattiva. At present, Abigail also forms part of the Malta National Youth Council and represented Malta in the EU-China Year of the Youth 2011 in Beijing.

In the upcoming year, with commitment and enthusiasm Abigail will be working to increase the relationship between KPS and University students` aiming at enhancing students` interests in their representative bodies. She will work to strengthen the cooperation between KPS and the organizations whilst intensifying the KPS as a Public Consultation mechanism. Her belief in all students` organizations will be evident in the constant effort to invest in both knowledge and resources needed by such organizations, so that together with this year`s KSU team, she will be available and ready to help students` societies and their members.
