International Office
KSU's International office works both to promote and facilitate the mobility of Maltese students and to assist foreign students who choose Malta as their destination to further their studies to ensure a welcoming and hospitable study enviornment. The International Office represents the interests of all Maltese University students on an international level, particularly within ESU - The European Students Union as well as MedNet – The Mediterranean Network of Student Representatives.

The International Office within KSU has a vision of establishing itself as a European Higher Education Area, where all those within the Eductional sector of the University of Malta can move freely across borders, providing information on the benefits of mobility and identifying those areas considered to be barriers of ones mobility.

We are currently calling on all students, local and foreign, to join us in our campaign towards the full mobility of Higher Education and Research Staff and Students in Europe.

We have a vision of a European Higher Education Area where students and teachers move freely across borders without timely, costly and complicated procedures. We want a European higher education area where every student and teacher regardless of their socio-economic background; their disability; gender; religion or their nationality can afford to go abroad.

This is our chance to realise a European Higher Education Area without barriers and borders!  So sign the Petition for Staff and Student Mobility today on letsgocampaign.net today!

On a different note, last year KSU International Office worked on making your life easier while studying at the University of Malta.  Besides the Welcome Package - consisting of stationery items sponsored by ‘Paperclips’, the KSU Diary, general information about Malta as well as a map of Malta - thanks to the Malta Tourism Authority we also compiled a Living Out Guide for you. We targeted the difficulties that the international student may encounter while studying abroad, and in collaboration with EUPA, published a handbook with useful information for students who are living, studying as well as who intend to work in Malta.

Furthermore, this year's KSU International Office launched the KSU International Benefit Card, a discount card entitling the international student to a variety of discounts from prominent outlets, ranging from stationery shops to food outlets, as well as clothes shop. Purchase it because it's worth it!

The International Office of KSU will strive to provide traineeship opportunities beyond our shores. For more details, email us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
